Uncle Vic and Eileen were crowned the Sr. King and Queen this year. We ran into them last night and Grant asked Uncle Vic to knight Bennett. He will now be known as Sir Bennett Franklin of Lammi. :)
At the Grand Parade today Sophia managed to collect about 270 pieces of candy (about 2.5 lbs!). At the beginning of the parade she was running about a block down the street to get to the candy so we had to set some boundaries for her. There was a crack in the road and a parking space that she had to stay between. She would go up to the lines and put her toes on them and then get down and reach as far as she could for the candy.
We had it all spread out on the table tonight and I was reading the Laffy Taffy jokes to her. One was "How do sheep get clean?" She looked at me with a totally straight face and said "in the baaaath tub." We all busted out laughing. She's pretty good for only being three!
