Well, we've arrived in Pemberville for the Fair. For those not familiar, the fair is kicked off by the Kiddie Parade. The kids from the area make floats, decorate their bikes, etc. and have a parade! The first thing in the parade is the Eastwood High School band. Sophia's response? Yea!!! Bennett's response? Whaaaaaa!!!
We were sitting there watching the parade and Sophia kept asking, "Mommy, when is the Kiddie Parade going to start?" to which I would reply, "Honey this IS the Kiddie Parade." She would then reply "No Mom, when is the KIDDIE Parade going to start?" It took a couple times going back and forth before I realized she wasn't saying Kiddie, she was saying Kitty. Poor thing, all this time she thought it was going to be a cat parade. Oops. The girl loves animals. Too bad I'm 99% sure she's allergic to cats!
Right now she and Grandma have gone off to deliver pies. Who knows what kind of trouble they will have found by the time they return!

Poor Bennett. Just wait until we get him a parade this weekend with some fire trucks. Wait, he'll probably hate that noise too.
Oh well If he melts down that's why they invented grandmas.
